Huainan Union University Wins Gold and Bronze at the World Vocational College Skills Competition!
From October 28 to 30, the final of the World Vocational College Skills Competition for the Biology and Chemical Engineering Track 2, the “Chemical Production Technology” event, took place in Lanzhou, bringing together 58 teams from across the country to compete on the same stage. The representative team from Huainan United University, comprising students Zhang Zhan, Lian Jing, Tao Zhixuan, and Gao Langxin, was coached by teachers Jiang Kun and Chai Cuiyuan from the School of Pharmacy and Materials Science. Unfazed by strong competitors and displaying exceptional dedication, the team stood out with their solid professional skills and steady performance, ultimately clinching the gold medal—a groundbreaking national gold for their school.
From October 29 to 31, the final of the World Vocational College Skills Competition for the Biology and Chemical Engineering Track 2, the “Modern Chemical HSE Skills” event, was held in Xuzhou. A total of 54 teams and 193 competitors from 29 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps across the country showcased the excellence of vocational education. After three days of intense competition, students Wang Xueru, Zhan Fei, and Sun Jian from Huainan Union University’s School of Pharmaceutical and Material Sciences, guided by instructors Guo Hongyan and Chen Kang, demonstrated resilience and composure, overcoming multiple challenges and maintaining a strong competitive performance to ultimately win the bronze medal.
