Huainan Hosts the 9th Cultural Industry Expo

From November 28 to December 2, the 9th Huainan Cultural Industry Expo, themed “Inheriting Millennia of Culture, Embracing a Better Life,” was held at the Urban International Center Square in Huainan High-tech Zone. The Expo integrated diverse elements including cultural arts, home living, premium Huai riverside products, books, and cultural and creative products. The event showcased a rich collection of traditional arts and crafts masterpieces alongside demonstrations of intangible cultural heritage skills. Through interactive cultural experiences, citizens were able to immerse themselves in the enchanting charm of traditional culture and share the benefits of cultural development. Pictured below is a community fitness group performing dance at the 9th Huainan Cultural Industry Expo on December 1.

According to reports, the Huainan Cultural Industry Expo has been successfully held annually since 2016, with this year marking its ninth edition. Over the past eight years, the expo’s brand influence has steadily grown, attracting an increasing number of exhibitors and visitors. The event has played an active role in promoting Huainan’s culture and advancing the development of its cultural industries.

This year’s expo, centered around the theme “Inheriting Millennia of Culture, Embracing a Better Life,” was organized into five thematic exhibition areas: Premium Huai Riverside Products, Cultural Arts, Books and University Cultural Creative Products, Smart Home Living, and Traditional Chinese Style Street. The event also incorporated interactive areas such as gaming zones and live streaming hotspots, integrating Chu-Han culture into the exhibition to further highlight Huainan’s unique cultural identity.

The five-day event included a calligraphy and painting competition for local primary and secondary school students, as well as a series of cultural and artistic performances, aiming to encourage greater public participation in the expo.
